Asesewa: MP refutes claims of inciting NPP and NDC clash over DRIP equipment branding.

The Individual from Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo, Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, has prevented charges that he impelled allies from getting the Public Majority rule Congress (NDC) to go after allies of the New Energetic Party (NPP).

On Monday, August 26, supporters of the NPP and the NDC clashed after individuals who were believed to be associated with the NDC inquired as to the reason why equipment from the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) was parked at the hotel of the NPP parliamentary candidate and branded with images of the candidate.

Two people supported wounds during the fight.

The Upper Manya Krobo MP urged the District Chief Executive (DCE) to move the equipment to the assembly premises to restore peace in an interview with Citi News.
"At the point when they were strutting the machines along the road of Asesewa, my home is simply near the street. So when they got to my home, he [the NPP parliamentary candidate] got down to coordinate traffic. Furthermore, his young men in the tipper [truck], they were tossing stones at my vehicle. Since we are on the ground, how are we supposed to throw stones from above? They are in the tipper [truck], and they tossed the stones, focusing on one of my young men, and by God's effortlessness, the stone hit their own director.

"I will beg my associate DCE, that he is the CEO of this region, and he ought to realize better that he is addressing the public authority or the president and he isn't simply a NPP part yet the area CEO.

"He permitted everything to happen in light of the fact that we forewarned him. I personally contacted him and informed him that the parliamentary candidate's picture cannot be displayed on this grader due to his lack of involvement.
